2010 Fishing Report!

Current Report: KLAMATH SUMMER STEELHEAD AND FALL SALMON!

Hey everyone how's it going? Here's a quick update of what been happening the last three weeks the fishing has been really good. there's been jack salmon as well as steelhead varying from 3 to 8lbs. There's been a few adult salmon as well. The fish are spreading through out the entire river now that the season is pushing on. The estuary fishing hasn't pick up yet ,however look for it to turn on soon. As I get ready for the season I have a new boat on the way. I'm looking forward to fishing this year and hope you all come enjoy the new boat. I ordered a 24ft  willie predator front windshield boat. Should be getting the boat in two weeks. Current Report: KLAMATH RIVER SPRING SALMON!

I fished two days after the fourth. First day it was a tough day went 1 for 2 lost a nice adult salmon at the boat and landed one jack. Second day the fishing picked up we went 3 for 4 landing two salmon and one adult steelhead. we also lost one at the boat. There's still some good fishing to come. I heard from a few people there was some nice adult salmon landed today as well as some jacks. If your interested in coming up. I'm booking summer steelhead trips and fall salmon trips. Current Report: KLAMATH RIVER SPRING SALMON!

Hello everyone, I apologize for the lack of reports. I hope to keep everyone updated on what's happening on the river. There's been some decent fishing over the last few months for spring salmon. we've had a lot of rain this year which has the river flow a little higher than normal at this time. Current Report: SMITH RIVER SALMON!!

Great day of fishing on the smith we had action most of the morning. Then it was a grind the rest of the day. There was a mix of  fish that been in the river a long with a few fresh fish.  There was consent rain today, the weather says its suppose to  rain the next few days. I have some days open if anyone is looking to get on a boat.

Current Report: SMITH RIVER SALMON!!

The last two days I been fishing the smith river for king salmon. We finally got little rain this weekend to bring the river level up. The last two days the water has dropped and cleared up. Were expecting rain the next few days. Be ready to fish I still have open dates this week. Here's a few pictures

Current Report: Klamath Salmon and Steelhead!

Hello everyone how's it going? I know everyone's been asking and wondering what I been up to. Due to some computer problems I wasn't able to update reports. However I have been fishing everyday. Overall the Klamath season was okay it was tough at times but we were able to catch fish. The quality of fish was nice the conditions excellent it just seemed like you had to work hard for the fish. As the Klamath season come to a end we will be heading over to fish the smith for salmon in November then steelhead till march . don't wait and book you salmon and steelhead trips now. Here's a few pictures from the last two days. I'll post rest of this years pictures next report.

Current Report: Klamath Salmon and Steelhead!

Hello everyone I know I haven't been posting reports. However I have been fishing and catching fish. The last few weeks the fishing has been good. There's been a few periods were it was tough but will still caught fish. There's been good steelhead fishing with nice adults and a lot of half pounders which is nice to see. The last few days I had the same group of guys. The fishing is staying the same and should continue to get better. The wind continues to pick up and makes it hard to fish. As far as the lower river  I haven't made it down to the estuary to see what's going on yet which I will in the next few days. The fishing been consistent the last few days with multiple hooks up and a few salmon with nice adult steelhead in the mix. The water is warming up and the moss is starting to show also. Another great day of steelhead fishing. The weather was great in the morning then the wind picked up and made it difficult to drift. thanks Carl and Bruce I had a great time. Current Report: Klamath Steelhead!!

The fishing been tough the last week or two. During the fourth July weekend there seem to be a good little push where boats were hooking on and landing some nice fish. The spring salmon is coming to a end however the steelhead are starting to move in. The water is still a little higher than I would like but still fishable. Current Report: SPRING SALMON!!

Just a quick update after a hard rain a couple weeks ago the water came up a lot and the river was blown out. As the river dropped into shape there was still people catching a few fish. The conditions have been good the last two weeks. We finally had some sunny days with a little wind in the afternoons. The fishing been up and down as well. Current Report: SPRING SALMON!!

Hello everyone, I know I been slacking on the reports but i'll be keeping up from here on out. I've been trying to keep busy during the off season and now I'm ready to fish. The weathers been up and down the last few weeks with sunny days then hard rain. which causes the flow to go up and down. There is fish coming through so be ready to fish. I have plenty of day's open at the end of this month and in June. Don't forget to book your summer steelhead and fall salmon trips while dates are filling up. Don't wait make sure you get those good dates. I will be staying at camper corral off the 101 hwy. Its a nice camp ground with RV hook ups and plenty of tent camp sites. Current Report: Smith River!!

With no rain for a couple days we couldn't ask for the weather to be any better. We had a great start by hooking a fish right off the start. It took awhile for us to get hooked up but it was well worth it. We ended up going 3 for 4 today all nice fish. Here's a few pics.

Another nice day on the water with a little bit of showers. The day started out great with a fish right off the start. I was fishing with buddy's from Garberville. We ended up going 4 for 4 today all nice chrome fish.

After being off the water for a few weeks it was nice to get back out there. I had my buddy up from Santa Rosa, it was his first time on the Smith. We had a great time fun fishing.

After a big rain the water came up to 22ft. However it has dropped the last few day's and conditions look great. The fishing been good the last few day's. I hope everyone had a good Christmas. As the holiday's pass, look for the fishing to pick up.  It looks like the river is going to shape up with the rain. If your interested in fishing for some steelhead now's the time. I have dates available this weekend and next week.
